About the Department
The department of CSE was established in 2008 with an intake of 60 students in the UG Programme.. The Department also runs Post-Graduate programmes with specializations from 2013 namely M.Tech (CSE) with a total intake of 18 students.
The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty with twelve associate professors and six assistant professors and five academic assistants. The department has good infrastructure facilities and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories. The department also has full fledged audio-visual facilities for effective teaching. The staff members are deputed to participate in workshops, conferences and refreshers courses to keep in place with recent developments in the field of Computer Science Engineering under faculty development programme.
As a part of the curriculum, Industrial visits are arranged for students to upgrade their skill and knowledge. Our CSE students also actively participated in paper presentation contest organized at various Engineering Colleges and Universities. Some of them have been awarded in these Paper presentation contests.
The department is having full-fledged laboratories to meet the requirements of both UG as well as PG curriculums. The department is also having labs with 200 systems running with updated softwares.

Message from HOD:
I congratulate all the students, who opted the Computer Science Engineering g branch.
B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering is all about Computer Sciences, programming languages, software development and testing, networking etc. It also focuses on using the above mentioned skills and knowledge for practical and Industry specific usage.
B.Tech degree holder can work in Computer Software & Hardware implementation department, Web designing, Telecommunication industry, Multimedia and Database management. With so many benefits of CSE is the best choice.
Department having Excellent Labs with latest softwares systems with Internet facility, such that student can explore their knowledge and skills to International industry standard.
The department is also having R & D facilities to enhance the skills among the student community, which can be utilized at their final year project work.
